Colin Bennett	I have never been to a friendlier site than Pete and Judy`s Carsington Fields! Visitors are greeted with a genuine smile and warm hospitality before enjoying such a relaxed atmosphere where everyone is so friendly. I am a regular visitor now, because of the great customer service and have even taken up windsurfing. I will be returning as many times as I can this year - it really is like heaven on earth.
Dave and Julie white	So very freindly and accomadating with no pressure, this site is perfect for breaks away from it all, or with family and friends for a jolly time with oodles of space. Ideal for children ,to give parents the oportunity to relax whilst still being able to see them while they play and socialise with other children on site in your full view from virtually all pitches. We have stayed a few times now and would recomend this site to anyone.
Andy Griffiths	Pete and Judy run an excellent site. We have stayed there several times and always found it clean and tidy with a warm relaxed atmosphere. The new toilet blocks are excellent and we would recommended the site to anyone. Thanks :-)
Malcolm & Vivienne Thompson	We have been visiting this site since it was literally 2 fields back in 1995. We have seen it grow into a superb facility. You are made most welcome by Peter & Judy, not to mention Lottie and we return year after year to enjoy this lovely place. Even when busy you have plenty of room to move around and having 2 dogs, the availability of the excellent dog walk is brilliant.The close proximity to Carsington Water is a bonus, however there are days when you just don`t want to leave the site, and there is plenty space to relax.

Terry, Chrissie and Sam	Peter and Judy have made this site into a little piece of heaven set in the lovely surrounding countryside. They are always helpful, friendly and ready to help. We have stayed on this site several times now and unfortunately we will not be able to get this year. Superb setting and the facilities are excellent long may they continue to enjoy the success they both deserve. We will return and I know that we will be made most welcome. We do keep in touch with them as they are so warm and friendly and Peter likes nothing more than a good chat and a joke or two. Keep up the good work.
andy and carolyn wardle	This is a fantastic site and is a credit to the owners peter and judy. you are welcomed with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. This was our first time on the site but not our last. This site is one of the best. 28/7/2008
Julie and David Berry 27/07/08	Wonderful wonderful campsite. Beautiful setting, excellent facilities, welcoming and friendly owners. I wish we could keep knowledge of this little gem of a place to ourselves but it would be a shame for everyone else to miss out on such a lovely place as this. As a famous Austrian gentleman once said..."we`ll be back".
David R	My wife and I stopped in at CCCS for a couple of nights quite rest and really liked the site. From our first phone enquiry we were greeted with friendly site managers. The site was very quiet on our stay - because of the foul weather - but as we were on hard standing the wet ground didn`t present a problem. We were sited with overview of a very pretty pond with ducks and coi carp swiming around. The site is kept immaculately and the toilet block though small reflected this high level of attention to detail. I am not sure how the small block would cope with a full site though. There is a £1 charge to use the shower. The geography is very pleasant with a short walk to Carsington Water visitor centre where we enjoyed refreshments before tackling the 7 mile round the lake walk. Overall a recommended site - we look forward to our next visit.
Pete & Lucinda	Hurry up and open!! Can`t wait to be back at this wonderful friendly site. Great position, well kept, great owners, what more can you ask for (except to be open!)?
Garry and Family	What a fantastic site, we have been several times now and the owners are great. They are very friendly and the site is wonderful. The pond is full of fish and we fed them most days. The sight is large and not overcrowded and toilets are always kept clean.
Simon and Angie	Stayed for just the night in a caravan but have to say will be back again for longer, made welcome on entry given a choice of pitch and choose by the pond. This is a super site, have stayed at a few around Ashbourne area and this beats them all by miles. Carsington waters is just up the road 10 mins walk which is a sight to see. Thanks for making out stay great and will see you again soon. We even got a wave on the way out, a very nice touch.
Joe & Jan McGregor (Rutland)	We have just got home after 5 days at this wonderful site.So welcoming and friendly. The Site is beautifully kept,and loved the personel touches in the toilets,hand cream etc.And fresh flowers.Hope to be back soon
Chris, Maria, Hollie and Tom Wilson	This is our third year at Carsington Fields and we can`t bring ourselves to go anywhere else. Peter, Judy and Lottie are the most friendly and accomodating people you could ever wish to meet. You can easily allow your children to run around freely, as you can see them from almost every pitch. The toilets are always kept spotless. We are now about to go for the second time this year - and it`s still only May! With the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, what else could you ask for in a holiday.
The Lowe Family	We found this site whilst traveling around one weekend looking at all the different sites in the area. We only live 30 minutes away and were looking for somewhere to stay for the May Bank holiday. Everywhere was full but we left our name with this site and sure enough we got a call to say there was a cancellation. I have never met such friendly people, always willing to help, asking if all is ok and smiling. They even walk you to your pitch. We have affectionatly nicknamed Judy and her little daughter "Miss Dynamite and Little Miss Dynamite" Lol This site is fab with a great area for children to play ball in the middle of all the pitches. There is a lovely pond that is fenced off and gorgeous friendly ducks that come and sit by you. Pitches are gently sloping but there are blocks readily available for you to borrow if need be. Toilets are immaculate with a personal touch of items like deoderant shower gel etc for you to use if you happen to have forgotten them. There is a Sainsbury`s, Co-op and Somerfield in Ashbourne just 5 miles away. Carsington Water is a 10 min walk from the site with plenty to do. We like this site so much that we have booked 3 nights for the Whitsun bank holiday. Highly recommended.
The Dudleys	After being let down and greeted by two arrogant people at a nearby site on our first time out with our caravan we were about to give up and say "this is not for us" we came across this site on our way home where we were greeted with the friendliest of welcomes from Judy. We were walked to our pitch and were put against some really friendly people who were so helpful and straight away our minds were changed. Each time Pete or Judy went past they waved and we were asked if we were ok on more than one occasion. Absolutely excellent!!!! Our whole experience was delightful and we will certainly be visiting here again.
john/wendy deaville	had a great weekend 26 to 28 june 2009 fantastic site and so very friendly excellent toilets and showers a credit to lucy lav judy,s best mate thanks for letting us stay we,ll be back again soon many thanks again.
Ken and Maureen Weaver	Having just had a 3 night stay at Carsinton Fields site, I have arrived home most relaxed from a very pleasant stay.The mine hosts Pete ,Judy and Lottie were most welcoming and were very Hard Working all the time.The Carsington Fields site is a Credit to them,and the Toilet block was totaly faultless thanks to their very own Lizzie Lav and her sterling work .The pitches were a great size no overcrowding whatsoever,It was our first visit of hopefully many more to come.Many Thanks to Pete and Judy for our super stay. Andrew, Sue and Maisie	We have just returned from a five night stay at Carsington Fields campsite and wanted to say a huge thankyou to Pete and Judy for making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The site was always neat, tidy and the facilities clean and well organised. The pitches are spacious with no overcrowding which made for a very enjoyable stay. The Hensons	Just spent a lovely Whit Bank Holiday Weekend at Carsington Fields Campsite. I would like to say what a nice, clean well run site this is and would recommend anybody to visit. We will definately stay again.
Catriona, Andy, Alex and Freya	We`ve just enjoyed our first trip to Carsington Fields - and have already booked to go again! We had a lovely time on this relaxed site where we were able to pick our own pitch. It is excellent for children who make their own fun and they were able to explore on their own as we could see them easily from our pitch. I would definately recommend! Thanks for a lovely time.

The Ormes	We have just returned from a wonderful break (Mon-Fri). What a friendly well kept site. Absolutely one of the best sites we have ever been to and would highly recommend to anyone and we will be returning next year. Thanks once again xx
Hoult family	Just returned from a two night weekend stay here - very welcoming and friendly, quiet and family orientated . Toilets clean, loads of room to pitch tent and a policy of not overcrowding. Very relaxing weekend - we will definately return as only 45 mins from home.
Alan & Corinne Booth	We stayed on the site for 10 days from July 31st 2010. It was our first experience of "family" camping with three kids and our dog. We feel like we struck gold with Carsington Fields. Judy and her team were really friendly and helpful. The site is very spacious and is in a beautiful setting with loads of room for the kids to play. The general facilities are good with very clean, if slightly cramped, toilets/showers. We had a great time and will definitely go camping again in the future... and a return visit to Carsington Fields is on the cards!
Scott And daughter Libby Smith	My 6 year old daughter and i spent a 2 night stay here and would definitely use this site again Peter And Judy are very helpful the facilities are very clean the whole site is very well kept a highly recommended site,my only quibble would be the road noise did affect my sleep a bit on first night but nothing ear plugs didn`t sort out on the second.thanks for nice break.
